Norwegian Airlines

I was going to Turkey -my home country-, from United States. As I gave my passport to get my boarding passes printed, I've been rejected. The employees said I needed a visa to go Norway. They said I can not go, over and over again. I had to convince them that there is an International visa free area in Oslo that they are supposed to know about. Finally they printed the boarding passes which costed me 20 minutes and stress.

Also I had my carry on bag measured. It was just under 10 kilograms.

As I was boarding from Oslo to Antalya, I showed my boarding pass to the personnel at the gate. As I was about to get on the walkway that leads to plane, I was herded to left side to have my bags measured. This was happening after I showed my boarding pass, right next to the walkway. There, the employees had my carry-on and backpack measured on top of each other. It ended up being 16.4 kg. The employee said I can not bring more than 10kg into the plane. As I explained him, the bag was my personal item and they allowed me to board the same way from New York. He did not listen to me and shooed me away. I was told to pay 75 Euros for the extra weight, my credit card wasnt with me and they did not accept cash. I had to give 100 dollars to a woman who agreed to pay for me, as I did not have any Euros with me nor smaller banknotes.

After being forced to do that, I went back on my way but I was herded to the same place again even though I had the billing in my hands. Finally I was allowed into the plane. It was very stressful.

I want to be reimbursed the 75 Euros because I was not informed the same way in New York. I had been dropped to the airport by a friend, I could have left my extra stuff with him.

I also expect and official apology for the inconvenience that occurred at the JFK airport in New York.
